Maison Sport Iris

The consortium led by the Bordeaux architecture agency Moon Safari participated in the competition for the major extension and rehabilitation project of the Maison des Sports des Iris in Lormont. The project planned to expand by half this major equipment, the essential federal dojo of the Bordeaux metropolis dedicated to martial arts and combat sports. The architectural proposal of Moon Safari was distinguished by: - A landscaping redevelopment: Creation of a forecourt enhanced by green islands of freshness and the dewatering of soil. - A unique entrance: A redesigned organization to naturally guide the public to a unique reception point, promoting friendliness and accessibility. - An environmental approach: The project aimed at strict objectives to improve environmental quality (E3C1 standard)
